Were you into ALL conspiracy theories or just some in general?

Was there one that just unraveled everything else and made you give it up?

What do you think about all those conspiracy wacko nutjobs who think Nixon had something to do with that third rate burglury at the watergate hotel?

Let's just say I used to be in David dIcke's work, including his reality control moon theory. That should give you a clue of how deep I was into these silly theories. But yeah, I used to genuinely believe them.

I was also into Terrence McKenna and his work regarding psychedelics and entheogens. I used to believe these substances could help us be enlightened or whatever.

I was last into this stuff back in 2010, so it's been a while.

You want people to equate your experiences with the labels "conspiracy theorist" and "new ager".

Let the wackos believe what they want. I'm just saying I used to be one of them, but I got some wits and pulled my head out my arse.

In those years you were into it, you must have uncovered many truths among the bullshit? how do you just turn your back on that and pretend all conspiracies are bullshit? I reckon maybe you just couldnt handle it?

My advice is to simply look at things from multiple perspectives.

See the world from an atheist-liberal point of view, and also from a religious-conservative point of view. Look at it from a libertarian, libery-lover point of view. And also from big government point of view. Why do all these people believe what they believe?

When you limit your view of reality through this clownish conspiracy community on the web, you're gonna end up dumber than you were before you go into all this. I'm serious. I was there.

Lots of branches. But to see the whole tree is priceless. ; )

Well, my personal belief is that there truly is a God, and if you simply ask Him in humility to show you the truth, He will in return blow your mind. I thought I had it all when I was into the conspiracy movement, I thought this was all there is to know. I was a prideful little twat. Boy was I wrong and dumb then.

But while I was in the 'truth' movement for 4 years, I went from being an atheist from the beginning and then into hardcore new ageism.

Then for the first time in my life I decided to explore Christianity. I went from a lukewarm Baptist, to a King James Bible believing Christian in just a short while.

Today, I don't claim to know any 'truth' other than Jesus is God revealing Himself in finite form, and His word is true. That's what I believe now, and because I believe in that, God pulled me out of the bogus "truth" movement. A Christian cannot be deceived, and if they are deceives it won't last long.

so what made you decide to give up the bible conspiracy (how many times has it been edited by men) in particular to all the other conspiracies with equally compelling evidence?

"God's Word" cannot be written. It can only be felt. It is corrupted by language.

Jesus was just as much the "Son of God" as the rest of us, so he is not to be worshipped, as men are not for worshipping.

That's my background philosophy explaining I am not atheistic.

Im just curious why you would abandon all conspiracies just because you think it tarnished your soul? And then put down all evidence of one of the fouler conspiracies and embraced what you previously thought was one big lie whole-heartedly?

There is definitely rotten fruit here, but one has to be ready to NOT TO EAT IT!
