Let teachers carry tasers. Put sirens on schools

Don't you think the principal and staff could have stopped the Sandy Hook shooter if they had had tasers? I am sure many wouldn't want teachers packing pistols, but why not these stun guns?


Also, it seems that an alarm should go off if someone gets in by shooting through the door window. Even rinky dink jewelry stores have their windows rigged so that an alarm would sound if someone tried to break them.

The fire department was right there. If a siren had gone off the firefighters would have been over there before he could have gotten very far.


I'm thinking something as noisy as the air raid siren. Maybe even let it be the air raid siren.
