My instincts have led me to believe we are in a time of transition, leaving one age and entering another. Transitions always take time. They don't happen in an instant. When they do, it's called a catastrophe.

For the most part, we are on the outside looking in; in that we do not control the changes but we do have to react to those changes or die.
