Plus Prepping is like insurance for bad times. you buy car insurance and hope you dont wreck your car, you buy house insurance and hope your house dont burn down, you buy Life insurance and hope you dont die so having a little extra dosnt hurt at all. Quoting: southern boy 1685967 Sounds like good reasoning to have a "job" lol |

You have(or should have) complete control of yourself, yet you have next to zero effect on society at large. By being prepared, most things can be planned and dealt with, rather than being reacted to. I've never lost a dime on preparations - food can be eaten and should be eaten before it goes bad. Guns and ammo never go down in value, and quality gear stays useful. The most useful prepping gear is camping gear, water filters and food. There's nothing more satisfying than just going in the back, grabbing car parts off a shelf, and doing a job, rather than calling around and making a trip to town. Even the boy scout motto is "Be Prepared". |

Mental health problem solved. - Winston Wolfe "I solve problems" Chances are that the people who would lock themselves underground, don't rely on government meds. Welding the doors shut would be pretty funny though. I was in the boy scouts, and know that you rarely need anything more than a torch (several bics), a knife, and some good rope to survive just about anywhere. Knowledge is the most powerful tool. Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow, you may die. |
