earthquake right now Central Cal looking for link

nothin here in NJ, but thats pretty far from CA

Saw it on the ABC quake cam. Don't know how far it actually was from the station, but on the seismometer it looks like an upper M4.

it actually woke me up. its weird. i was having a dream and in my dream someone was saying "well i better buckle up" than i wake up to my door rattling/shaking... i thought right away it may be an EQ ( i was waiting for my bed to starting shaking or w/e) but it didnt...

I seriously doubt any californian would wake up from a M2.6 at 18km depth.
Also, it really looked bigger on the seismograph.

Whoaa haha glad everyone was okay and that it wasn't bigger!

didn't realise there where this many people so close on the central coast. We need to have a GLP Doom Picnic or something. haha

now way that was a 2.5 everything rattled we had a near 7.0 back in 2002 this time of year. i live in Cali i have had enough earthquake experiences to tell you it was bigger. if not bash me all ya want.the windows shaking is what woke me up....too late a night for me on GLP.

There was a big one in the same general area almost exactly nine years ago around Christmas time. I believe it was 6.9.
