United Airlines gives free flights to Winnipeg families attending Ana Marquez-Greene funeral in Connecticut
United Airlines came flying in to save a number of local families the cost of flights to Newtown, Conn., to attend Saturday’s funeral for Ana Grace Marquez-Greene.
The free flights were set up through state troopers in Newtown who were arranging travel for grieving friends and family, Janke said. One of the local families had contacted the state trooper who is aiding the family of Jimmy Greene, his wife, Nelba Marquez-Greene, and their son Isaiah. [
