Where'd the sun go?
I was on the three days of darkness thread

Thread: "LOOK-NOW"---3 Days of Darkness Approach! NASA Stereo Behind HI1: 12/21/2012 it All Goes Dark!

and saw this

[link to stereo-ssc.nascom.nasa.gov]

Search Ahead EUVI 195 20121219 to 20121220 on slideshow stop at frame 10. No sun at all on that frame.

Any explanations on what happened?
There is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

Somebody out there has got to know what it is. as you can see the image isn't completely blank so closed shutter when image was taken doesn't fit.

wtf1
If this is true, then shouldn't it go dark for a sec for us in the near future?

It probably went to the minimarket to grab some beer and crisps. Probably was bored just hanging around a couple of billions of years.

Why the hell are there "No Files" for the 19th and 20th in the ahead and behind EUVI sections? There may even be more sections with the missing files, is Nasa not letting us see these pics intentionally do you think?

Honestly it wouldn't surprise me at all. NASA has a long history of editing images and not telling the whole story.
