All time is measured off of GMT or UTC time. that's the line that divides the world into a different day.

So then your country would be + or - 1, 2, 4 ect....from that imaginary line called UTC or GMT.

Ok, I HAVE TO make this thread because there are SO MANY people around the world that don’t grasp the following fact:

It doesn't matter if it's the 21st or the 22nd in other countries. Some countries will always be 1 day or more ahead of others. The MAYAN countdown is very specific. Convert Dec 21, 2012 11:11 AM GMT ....to your timezone in the world.

For some it will be the 22nd and for some it will be the 21st.

This is when the Mayan calendar expires, which just happens to be on the winter solstice at 11:11 AM GMT TIME ZONE on the 21st.
