Freakishly apocalyptic weather in Kentucky
Probably just because a major cold front is moving in, but we are getting some major sustained and wind gusts. The house is creaking and stuff is blowing around our neighborhood. It's been dark and dreary all day.

The clouds have looked pretty awesome lol. Nothing to worry about though. Lots of snow storms and stuff heading over from the west. It's almost relaxing to me outside.

Same here in SC, tons of rain, the wind gusts start tomorrow. It was so dark 4pm on the drive home from work I was a a little freaked out. Just the cold front I know but when you have 12/21/12 looming it's pretty unsettling.....

Very windy here in NW Montana, too. Our normal
weather report we check each AM is saying everything
is just normal....but, get this--they posted the
SAME EXACT PICS and satellite pictures from YESTERDAY
as being today's deal. What's up with that? No
message about server difficulties or stuff like that.
Just a PHONEY PICTURE and satellite. Was NOAA and
also same thing on Unisys weather.
The wind chill was so bad I saw a fellow walking
home from the grocery store blowing like in a cartoon
and he had his hand over his mouth like he couldn't
breathe. He actually looked very freightened. Lucky
he only had 1 block left to walk.
Anyways, keeping a watch out. Be safe there in
Kentucky. This is a stressful time.
Cheers!
SK

Re: Freakishly apocalyptic weather in Kentucky
We've had higher winds here before, but usually in gusts with storms. Even youth the sustained aren't as heavy as the gusts, the sheer sustained winds are eerie. I've already seen minor limbs down, and two of our gutter spouts have blown off.
