Well, there's less than 5 mins left till 21st December 2012 here in UK. Tomorrow should be a good day.

If it weren't for the alignment December 21, 2012 would be just another lame solstice with no hype around it.

Nothing. The Mayan calender is off, non compatible with our modern one. It's not even 2012 let alone December 21, 2012 on their calender.

I just want something HUGE to happen. Rapture/ascension would be great, it would be awesome to wake up to a completely different world, one without suffering, evil, pain, loneliness or sorrow.

I don't think anything catastrophic will happen. I'm mostly worried about people offing themselves due to great disappointment.

I voted other. I think the PTB would love a chance to kill the switch and take advantage of the fear that everyone is waiting for. Then calm the masses, tell them all is ok and step in line. This doom date is global. Mass hysteria caused by them doing just what everyone is thinking will happen with three days of darkness.. Then everyone loving the PTB for bringing back the light, like GODs.

A little info for those that do not know.

The Mayans had several calendars. There just happens to be one that ends on this date. There is one that begins after this one.

The Mayans also predicted things thousands of years from now also.

It doesn't end it just a cycle. The calender is a circle if im not mistaken. It just starts over in a new era.

If this is true then we have nothing to worry about
