I know. They've had a 10% chance in and out of the South Plains forecast for about a week. Guess it's officially out now. :(

Every time there's a chance of rain, it's always a 20-30% chance, and it's only materialized once since the middle of October. One measily little rain shower in over two months now. What are they doing to Texas?

Hi, Luis! That's the one we were supposed to get a little of, but it looks like the LOW isn't going to get to us. I guess we just wait and see. For us, that's how the weather goes down here. I really don't know why what's happening, why our weather is shut off. I'm crossing my fingers for a little Christmas miracle.

Here's the weather service page for Richmond, VA. Looks like rain for you. If you don't know what the maps are telling you, this is the next best thing. I have mine bookmarked for the radar for my area.

If you notice, above the forecast, is the hazardous outlook in red. If there is a watch or warning, that will be there. Just click on it to read the info. Hope it helps.

Forgot to add...in the top left corner, right under the HOME link, is a little box to type in your city/state for the local forecast. Type in any city in the US and it'll come up with a forecast. If it doesn't, pick the nearest large city to get your region.

Luis, someone posted this link on my thread a couple of weeks ago about our snow storm then. It's a discussion blog about TX and surrounding states weather. It's really good for explanations and these people are the "real deal"! I linked to the last page, but anyone in the region should read pg. 70 also. They also discuss all weather, since it eventually applies to all of us.

East coast is fine with me. As long as I can get cold beer here in Ohio.....
