So lazer treatment couldnt work yet. A trip to one last place in London to maybe stitch a lense to my eye. What you saying? |

Because I spent one winter on the computer and then my eyes got worse. But it will take a while to explain. Last Edited by Ingenious on 12/20/2012 06:49 PM |

If possible, being distance from windsheild to eye but then cruising down the street with eyes taking up the whole windsheild not mention the 1st degree burns you would recieve, wouldnt be cool. Unless Sungazing to the Plaides is your thing |

| Ingenious (OP) User ID: 1202106 12/20/2012 06:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It will take 45 minutes a day. You have to go without glasses as much as possible. I never wore glasses - only to drive. So for me I saw amazing results quickly. I could see better after one week. I don't know if 20/20 is possible. I think I could get 20/20 after two or three months. But I do know I could see stuff - amazingly better after three weeks. I will post the system on my next post. |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 21362482 12/20/2012 06:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I stopped wearing glasses and contacts 2 and 1/2 years ago to try to improve my eyes, thinking my body will naturally heal. I bought pinhole glasses which help me see 20/20 or near that, but only when I wear them, and they only work in daylight well. They're cheaper than glasses and contacts so they're well worth it! I thought maybe they'd help improve my vision but when I take them off it's still the same blurryness. I also tried palming regularly, even palmed my eyes once for 5-10 hours and did that over 2 days, but thay didn't work either. I'll look into eye exercises now. |

| Ingenious (OP) User ID: 1202106 12/20/2012 07:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | when i was a kid, my parents bought two books on improving eyesight without glasses. Both books were useless. I couldn't see the blackboard as a kid, and one of the books was by a guy called Bates. that book wasn't any good. later someone ordered a pamphlet for about $79 from some place in USA, and i tried his exercises - amazing results. but after a week, I stopped the exercises. Most people stop the exercises. I know why. It's hard. it's hard on yourmind, because you never really know if you're doing the eye exercises right or wrong, because your eyes aren't too good. I know I did them right, because I could see the blue street signs. in town, that I neve rsaw before. i was amazed how good I could see them. But not 20/20. I don't think 20/20 is possible unless you absolutely do the exercises for at least three months. |

If you're someone who wears contacts or glasses, and you're without them for whatever reason, and you need to read something real quick, here's a way to do it... Make this sign with your thumb and index finger.. like this... ![]() EXCEPT...close the ring that your thumb and index finger makes until there's only a tiny pinhole. Then hold that little pin hole right up to your eye to look through it without your glasses or contacts..and you'll be able to read! Give it a try! Great for when you're in a pinch! | Ingenious (OP) User ID: 1202106 12/20/2012 07:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | so two years ago, i spent all winter staring at a computer screen, and I was shocked - bad bad eyesight. I remembered that pamphlet we had in the house several years ago, and I actually invented about six or seven eye exercises, based on that guy's pamphlet. I will just give quick idea of what I'm talking about. take any book or paper with black printed words on white paper. hold it up to your nose.obviously it's blurry. not clear. slowly push the paper farther away, until you can see the words clealy. this is the place where you can see stuff. it's IN FOCUS. could be a foot or two away. Now - slowly push the book farther away, looking at one letter, until it's blurry. Stop. This is the place wher stuff is out of focus. Move it back to where the page is IN FOCUS. Look at one letter. see it clearly. blink. blink. blink each time seeing the letter clearly. Now - push it back one inch, and TRY to see it clearly. Towards you one inch - see it clearly. blinking about five times. Away again, blinking and trying to see one letter clearly. Move the paper closer and farther away, while blinking and trying to focus on one letter. Do it for ten minutes. I did different exercises, and I can't explain everything perfectly on a forum - but this system works. But there's more to it. |
| Ingenious (OP) User ID: 1202106 12/20/2012 07:11 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | what you will find out, is gradually, you can see the letters more clearly, at a farther distance. do this every day, forty five monutes for a week. but there's more. I can't tell everything here on this forum. it works. But you have to avoid glasses as much as possible while doing them. |

The exercise the OP suggests is something like the ones using the big eye-chart, if it works it works. |
| beeches User ID: 28167778 12/20/2012 07:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I did something similar years ago for mild astigmatism. It helped a lot. recommended the "focus on your fingertip as you move it slowly outward and back toward your nose" recently to someone who found them helpful too. It makes sense that the eye is a muscle that benefits from use. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15 |
