If the firearm found in the car was not a Bushmaster AR-15 we must consider that this assault rifle, allegedly owned by Lanza’s mother, was never at the crime scene." Incorrect. That was reported by the media. The police had not yet said anything about it. The media was saying things were confirmed before they even had one police announcement.
