Hate to let the air OUT of you story OP, BUT .... Photos from the air showed a SHOTGUN being taken out of the car trunk !

BUT, keep stirring the pot; something generally floats to the top, 'old boy' !

Officer clears the weapon by pumping it...a large red (presumably 12ga) shell was ejected. Looked like a Remington 870 or mossberg 500 to me.

Okay, so what I'm curious about is the video showed LE removing and clearing a Mossberg from the trunk AT NIGHT. Reports all day as in daylight, indicated weapons had been found in the suspects car...so are we to believe they didn't check the trunk until nightfall? And, it begs the question, what weapon(s)was pulled out of the car during the day? Does anyone else see the inconsistencies here?

Fuckin eh there is no way he is clearing a pump in that vid. He is pulling on a small charging handle on the right side of the breach of a weapon. The shell that is seen looks to be a shotgun shell - probably 3" but hard to tell given the resolution but no matter it ain't an AR no matter how you look at it.

ME says all the babies he processed were shot up with a long gun. Is there a LEO that has said there was a recently fired long gun found anywhere at the crime scene?

Anyone have links to any CT LEO docs?
