actually isnt a light day still pretty far? it takes 8 minutes for light to arrive from the sun no? the sun is pretty, and the light travels for only minutes...

light goes around the world 7x in one second. The earth is roughly 25,000 miles. Sp (24,000miles around the earth)x(7times per second)x(60seconds)x(60minutes)x(24hours)x(3days)=43,545,600,​000miles. Congrats that is 1,748,819 earth circumferences out into space.
