What part of Alabama? I'm on the Gulf Coast. Wind is terrible here, too. I just left a beach house that was rocking so bad the water in the toilet had "waves" in it...never seen that before.

Our power here in north west alabama has been going off & on all day & night due to the high winds here.

There appears to be heavy wind across much of North America right now. Cold front or something. That and DOOM! :P

I'm in central Indiana and I was sitting in my car at work, while on break, having a cigarette and the wind was rocking my car!!! Felt like it was going to flip!!

The weatherman forecast up to 60 mile an hour winds here tomorrow (Sat) Northeast PA.

Had to get something from my car and had to go out the back door.the wind was pushing so hard against the front door I couldnt open it.
Power company sent out an alert earlier saying to prepare in case power goes out due to falling trees,etc.
Very troubling.Not feeling good about this sustained wind for hours and hours.

I'm in southeast TN and it's crazy here too. We need extra money so I'm kinda hoping my neighbor's tree snaps and lands on my jeep. I can ride a bike, I'd just like to have a little bit of $ in savings :)

And this kind of extreme, constant howling wind isn't normal in this area.

The wind is banging my windows aggressiely here in central NC............ gaining in intensity

about a week ago there was spring flowers budding out while hanging a few christmas lights. crazy december

I havent been home long...

I live out in the country... real rural...

went out today and on the way home
it looked like a war zone... trees and branches and junk all over the place... I got lucky the state road department had just cleared my road... so i didnt have a delay... it just looked odd...

In the city of Lexington, Kentucky earlier this evening... the wind would damn near knock you down...

driving earlier over 70 was insane... the wind wanted to push me off the road.

Dallas was hit last night.

HUGE gusts of wind would make the house creak and pop.

And even when the wind calmed down for a few minutes,
you could still hear an ongoing roaring sound.

This morning I noticed my "welcome" sign and blown off
the front porch and there were two separate large piles
of leaves stacked up against my garage door.
