Historical logic User ID: 11417419 United States 12/21/2012 05:06 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Without private gun ownership WWII would have been worse for America. Disregarding the possible conspiracy that America knew the Japanese were going to attack Pearl Harbor before it happened, there is a small detail that gets left out of why the Japanese didn't attempt to invade the mainland. There was supposedly a conversation between a Japanese captain and general where the captain asked if they were going to invade the mainland after attacking pearl harbor. The general said, "are you effin crazy, if we did that thier would be an American with a gun behind every blade of grass!"
God bless the redneck army! |

Quoting: Thylacine If it wasn't for the redneck gun nuts from America, you'd be speaking Japanese. Assuming they let your grandparents live, of course. |

Three people own guns; criminals, responsible people, and governments. Gun laws only affect responsible people. Chicago has strict gun laws and since the criminals and government have the guns, responsible people have little to no means of protection. Makes them easy targets. Guns are bad, but taking them away is just stupid. It's like putting a sign in your front yard that says "I'm away for the weekend, my door is unlocked, and my house is loaded with silver and or gold". |

Let's use some reverse logic... When America invades countries, and those countries have armed citizens or insurgents, even America has trouble "finishing the job". |
