FOIA requests and unidentified objects

I have recently filed requests to the DOD, USAF, US Army, NSA etc. And I found it very interesting how each interprets the Freedom of Information Act.

The US Army refuses to process my request even though I specifically mention the regulations and instructions in which records may of been filed, they pass it to the USAF.

Each air base is responding differently so I'm waiting to see if any goodies come about.

There is usually a standard response, which is frankly crap.
