It takes around 24,000 years to do the full orbit. The further we get from Sirius the darker our times get because the light of our second star is so far away. The light from stars is life and consciousness. We are just coming around the bend and heading back towards Sirius and will have 24,000 years of increasing enlightenment until we do one pass around Sirius which will be a golden age. This is a 24,000 years process and it's why there are remnants of great civilizations on Earth. It repeats over and over again and that's why. Think of the orbits of the two solar systems (the star we orbit and Sirius) as two of the circles in the Olympic logo, how they overlap a little. That's how it goes. Also when are real close to Sirius not only do we have constant light, and double the amount of light, but we are also close enough to the other planets in Sirius that we can more easily be visited and visit the people on the planets in their system. We're on the way back so while it will take 12,000 years it's just going to be getting lighter every day and the shitty evil will be losing energy and power all the time. |
