Perhaps now we can get back to living our lives without the threat of doom hanging over our heads. Instead of focusing on end dates we can focus on starting dates. To quote last century's platitude, "Today is the first day of the rest of your life", let it truly be the dawning of a new,happier life for you and your loved ones.

That statement is flawed though. Nothing has been more concrete than the Mayan Calendar. Everything else beyond this point has little to no credibility. So yes things will be different now.

Perhaps that what the date signified was the start of a new aura of thinking. Instead of fear now we will have motivation to better ourselves... I can dream right?
