Patrick Geryl: COMPLETE FAIL

Well guys this has been fun, but since the first show was such a yawner I don't think I will be buying a ticket for the sequel. It is time to get on with other things in my life. Take care all GLPers!

I've known Patrick for a long time. While I have never been convinced by his science, his intentions have always been sincere. He did a stellar job of warning people (the 2012 movie was based on his theory), he just didn't get his science and maths correct.

It is a shame he didn't put his money where his mouth is regarding a survival spot.

He's a con artist. As for giving the money back, anyone who was gullible enough to believe any of his tripe doesn't deserve to have their money back.

He predicted 4 quake magnitudes this month. Two so far happened. There is still a quake of a 10 on the table. I figure if that hasn't happened by xmas, that is another failed prediction.

Not exactly a stellar job when you got it totally wrong from the very outset.... And given 99.99999% of people don't even know who he is, his coverage on getting 'it' out there was even worse..

The 2012 movie was not based on his theory as the theory is old. I'm sure there were some scenes based on what he claimed would happen but he certainly doesn't deserve any prizes for being so narrow minded...

His maths and science must have been so far off the mark.. He went out to buy a car and came home with a lizard.

We are all failures at something at some point in time. Just because Geryl didn't get it correct and "failed" doesn't mean anything otherwise.

March 28 today and again nothing happened. Did he predict anything correct? Again fail !

I gree with everyone that Patrick is a complete duchebag....a complete duchebag from a dirty cunt, but to the commentor from Malaysia that said,

"Can anyone tell me who made that prediction of the sun becoming a red giant? When I first read that a couple of years back, I thought it was hilarious!"

The sun WILL actually become a red giant when it starts to die(scientific fact)....and swallow the first 3 planets completely...which means all of our asses theoretically will be roasted a few million years b4 that happens anyway. The good part is, that crap isnt supposed to happen for like another 2 billion years....and by then, we'll more than likely be extinct anyways...so that prediction wasn't wrong, just off by oh.....id say 2 billion years.

I watched a Youtube clip where he is interviewed by a couple of researchers. He sounded so very convinced. He is quite an intelligent person, this is obvious, but he was wrong all the same.

If he didn't do it on purpose, why should he have to regret it at all ? He did what he had to do, according to what he thought was true. It was not an intentional hoax. At least, that's what we led to believe, aren't we ?

But maybe there is some connection.
