1-it called me 8 months ago and the voice/words were the same

almost sounds like someone has dialed your number in error on a fax machine, when you answer it tries to put the fax through, as for the voice...not sure. We live in a tech age, could be almost any weird error.

Missing time is just that. A block of time that you have no memory for. Imagine you were setting at home watching the news and all the sudden is 1230am and you have no idea what happen to the last 4.5 hours. None.

As far as the call goes. It does not sound like a hand-shake used by most communications systems. Its too short even though its looping and there is no pause as it awaits a reply.

Seriously, OP, I've heard this on my own telephone [land line] when I was talking to a friend [on cell] in another state. It happened more than one time. We both thought it sounded like "demons".....lol.........but since I don't believe in demons I think it's some kind of digital glitch.

I don't think you have any reason to be fearful. Nothing ever happened after I heard it. I think you'll be just fine.
