I think, I assume because nobody is disputing this. But ... Where is the text that says when a Galactic Alignment occurs the world comes to end? Translating the end of a calendar into a global exstinction event is where facts end and fantasy begins. |

I didn't think they would have gone through the trouble of making the thing in the first place with the alignment having no actual impact here on earth. |

Even Noah's flood took 40 days of rain to drown everybody. Virus? Takes longer. Solar flare? Takes even longer, EQ, needs multiple ones and takes longer. So wake up and be happy because it hasn't happened yet. Oh forget about nubiru. if anything that size collides with the earth, Mayans won't continue their calendar count after 2012. |

There was an alignment and they were correct on this. They also predicted we would move to a higher state of consciousnesses. Many many people are definitively thinking more than ever before, but considering the amount of mass media dulling the brain, it's easy to see how that could have been calculated wrong. |

All of a sudden their biggest prediction fails? Hmmmmmm Quoting: Anonymous Coward 13490739 They did not PREDICT anything. They recorded their dates and observations so they would know things like when there would be an eclipse, an alignment, a full moon, solstice etc. They did not predict a thing. This was a culture where the leader of the losing team in a soccer match would be put to death, just for sport. Keep things in perspective here. |

"Symbiotropism will emerge in the lives of some forward-looking people in our time, and will do so vividly and dramatically around the vortex moment of the Maya endtime, 2012. As this happens, it will be imperative to resolve the unfinished business of the Piscean Age by mastering the central problem: namely, how the messianic complex of the Age has impeded our realization of the true image of humanity."
