Where did you get that the Maya "predicted" anything????

The simply ran out of room on the rock on which they carved their "perpetual" calendar !!

They never made ANY prediction!

Quetzalcoatl

see
[link to en.wikipedia.org]
 Quoting: SE

Quetzalcoatl was a god from Central Mexico. He is not a Mayan god. When the Toltecs invaded and established the triple alliance, they brought Quetzalcoatl with them and his name in Mayan speaking territory in the Yucatan became Kukulkan. It was an imposed religion by a conquering nation. The peoples of Central Mexico believed Quetzalcoatl would return in a year called Ce Acatl, which coincidentally was the year that was in effect when Cortes landed. This is why they thought he was a god and didn't kill him before he could destroy everything. The Mayans only paid lip service to a foreign religion. They made no predictions about Quetzalcoatl, and their end date had nothing to do with it. This date was established long before the religion of Quetzalcoatl was invented.

Dang everyone just wants instant gratification doom lol well that's not how it will happen!

I don't believe that the Mayan predictions failed. No one ever said that there would be a everything happen all in one day on the 21st of Dec 2012.

I think whatever is to unfold will happen over the course of the next year or few years.

I believe what they said was that it would change life as we know it....well.....I say just wait.

They are not wrong we are just not understanding fully the process and timing of their predictions.

Dang everyone just wants instant gratification doom lol

They were not wrong. They made no prediction other than that a cycle of counting would end and a new cycle would begin. All the doomsday, end of the world stuff was predicted by non-Mayans who do not understand cycles.

Re: How Could The Mayans Be Wrong?
Why question any of this. The door is open for anything to happen now.

We are starting our cecent down thru the Milky Way Gallaxy and will be doing so for 13000 years and then we start to come back up again cross the Equator and go up for 13000 years. Its a cycle.

The Mayans knew this and they also knew that the bottom half is a bumpy ride for the planet.

The Earth changes we have been experiencing are not going to stop just because the date came and went anyways. We are in Solar Maximum. There is danger around every corner. We don't even know if our calendars are lined up properly with the mayan calendar even.

This changes nothing. Stay prepared for the unexpected. We werenever meant to know when death comes calling anyways. Puts us all on a level playing field. Like a theif in the night she comes.

I just hope that all the stupid ELITE rumors stop now because thats the most painful part of this whole thing. All the stupid conspiracy's about people with money doing what they do. The part that I'm really not going to like now is all THE FALSE FLAG totla crap and BS that never pans out will start up again and that False Flag Shit really makes me sick. Its fucking stupid. Always has been.

On the first day of the last Baktum period a few guys got walked about a bit on a ssndy tropical beach.

Didn't seem much at the time.

WIthin 20 years, these Spanish Conquistadors have butchered and destroyed pretty much every major native Civilization in the Americas.

Could this be the same today?

Some minor incident is going to prove absolutely the turning point.

Some quirk found in a science lab, some person born today, some accident....could prove to be the tipping point, the moment of change.

Re: How Could The Mayans Be Wrong?
Nothing 'failed'...it is now the beginning of a new cycle...at 22:18 local Cairo time today - December 21st there was a major galactic alignment - completely in align and mirrored with the total layout of the complete Giza Pyramid necropolis - at that exact time Orion was directly above and involved in this alignment.
At 22:18 the plateau (centre of our earth if you lay it out) was in direct alignment with the centre of our galaxy.

This now signifies zero time where a new beginning unfolds..
What the result of this post event energy/event will be who knows..but expect major changes in the coming months

The above was not 'just made up' it was published in our 'Giza Genesis best kept secret' books back in year 2000 - you can easily google any of the above etc

The 'dates' were calculated not by our calendar but with star chart programmes taking into acccount of the Mayan data...by moving the years/months forward back in 2000 the alignment presented itself above the plateau on December 21st 22:18 and 13 seconds ...what the result of this scenario will be I do not know...just offering you the inmformation

Re: How Could The Mayans Be Wrong?
The Mayans weren't wrong nor were they predicting the end of the world. Who was wrong were the book authors, tv show script writers and all the other riff raff that were going ahead and basically stringing together ideas with dubious validity in order to make a profit off of fear mongering.

The "experts" that actually proposed the idea that this date would be the end of the world are not experts at all. Graham Hancock wrote "Fingerprints of the Gods" in 1995 that proposed that all sorts of things could happen on this date. Graham Hancock is not an anthropologist, a geologist, astronomist, quantum physicist, nor anything else that could even be loosely tied to what he was writing about. His degree was in Sociology--the study of human social behavior. His prior employment before writing FotG--he was a journalist for the Guardian. This doesn't make him an expert at any specialized field that would be a discerning voice on the Mayans, astronomy or geology. What it makes him is an expert in the art of social human behavior and he received honors for that one. When you look out "there" today, you can see that at least one of your experts expertly manipulated the crap out of a whole lot of people. To be fair, I know for a fact that he had good intentions from his own mouth. Even an expert at sociology can make a mistake for they are human.

Next time, choose your experts better.

the mayan date marks the begining of the end of this age of mankind. after the given date, there will be a period of "zero" which begins with the 23rd and lasts for a couple of months. next year is the begining of the fall that will last for at least a decade if not more..after the period of "purification" comes the begining of the so called golden age when mankind returns to a simpler state lving of the land and begins the new book of the human story.

Everything the Mayans predicted did happen including the enlightenment. They left a gift of one day that the whole world focused on for months. Not just a country or a culture but the whole world saw the Mayans as nothing different than themselves. They were brilliant people who reached into our solar system and beyond with nothing more than their eyes and souls. It took us until recent times to see with our billion dollar space probes what they did with nothing but observation. Anybody who can't see this should turn their TV on and go back to sleep

According to Mayan Elders, it happens on the 22nd, around noon.

There will be 8 minutes of total mind awakening, total open mind with no deceptions.

They said to write down your thoughts, and sort through them aftarward to determine which you can take action on.
