Exactly - the US will become a police state. Do people actually think guns make you "free"? The gun industry is basically enslaving people and the entire US will end up being a police state.

You know where else they had armed guards for civilian institutions and armed checkpoints for civilians to pass through to ensure law and order were observed?

Outlaws have guns for different purposes than mentally ill. They do not go out and randomly shoot people because of little voices in their heads.

At least it would be much harder to get a gun. In this case he just took some of his moms collection.

Should have already happened, that failed attempt in the Oregon mall before the sandy event. It thankfully didn't go down the way TPTB were expecting, there could have been sooooooooo many more deaths in that scenario. There must of been a glitch in the matrix and his programming short circuited and blew himself away before carrying out his objectives first.

That or divine intervention, so they wanted to increase fear in the minds of holiday shoppers near Christmas and it kinda failed so next best thing is to go after the children. They really wanted it to be the combined disasters card with more like 20-30 dead from the mall Op with the Sandy Hook massacre and I'm gonna say add one more before this year is out for full effect.

What about drive-by shootings, where the whole thing is done just for the thrill of shooting into a house for no other reason of having fun? Keep your guns, and enforce the laws!

After listening to his "speech" I'm convinced that NRA stands for No Real Argument.

How about ? You have a few teachers trained and ready to go @ each school ? In California all the schools have cameras so most schools have that or will soon have them. During school there WILL be a continuous security watch posted. The armed teachers ,who are paid a 20% bonus through government grants,will be on duty and wearing pagers and have communication equipment. Their weapons will be locked up loaded and ready. I would recommend at least one automatic weapon in each special opps teacher's weapons safe along with the standard police issue equipment. All of this to be paid for through special Federal grants and the termination of 95% of our tax dollars going to foreign aid countries who take our money while hating our guts.

Texas has guns in schools. Police in some schools, armed teachers in others. I prefer armed teachers, you loose your rights to contain the problem if the police are there. Many times a problem is solved without police .

But I rest my case. If you wan't to give up your freedom just to have the right to wear firearms by my guest. Just watch out next time you go to the mall, when you grab your wallet some law enforcer may think you grab a gun and shoot you on sight.

Will the real President of the USA please stand up...and He did in the form of Mr Wayne LaPierre. Inspired, real and heartfelt. It is this kind of leadership lacking in the US and the world. Practical Solutions offered amongst understandable mass Hysteria...It is the first time in my life I have actually applauded a voice out of the USA...Fucking awesome speech! And I ask myself why this man is not at the helm of the most powerful and most targeted people on earth (within and without their borders) by an insane enemy????

Come on now! Mental illness and drugs...and violent games certainly do have an influence! If a person is shooting up people they obviously have a mental issue. Not everything is a frickin' conspiracy. It's the person behind the gun not the gun! And I don't see this as 'pushing' any agenda. You want to lose our rights or what? Good God not everyone has an agenda. Why not look for a positive once in a while?

The School Districts and Teachers can handle this. An adult in charge of a few dozen children should be allowed to use a defensive tool. If I was a teacher I would rather have the option of being armed, just in case. I would rather be able to look the parents in the eye. Versus being gunned down begging for mercy from some heartless automaton.

Yet another groep of children who gets brainwashed with the idea that gunpossession is ultimately 'normal' / something that belongs to every day life life eating breakfast and going to the toilet.

Yet another group of children recruted for the 'culture of violence'.

Don't whine 10 or 20 years from now that you will actually have far more school, cinema and supermarket schootings. It has been your own choice.

Remember Dunblane, and how the cops arrived to clean up? More will come your way...but closer to you, even closer than 7/7. Some 'Englishmen' is or will be planning the mass murder of English kids because he/it will be remembered and there is fuck all any poofter English woman/man can do to stop him.. Actually what he is saying is kinda brilliant.

He is showing how asinine it is to blame a thing instead of the person that did it. Like the gun haters do every time. He's just saying if the guns are the culprits then so are the video games, movies and TV shows, so we have to start banning them too, or at least you have to start looking at regulating video games, TV shows, movies etc.

Which is as stupid as banning guns.

Though I have to agree with Phen and the rest about the National Mentally Ill list, any one can be considered mentally ill these days.
