This is so close to the Chicago 2007 OHare UFO sighting characteristics it could be from the same script!
In Chicago a UFO was sighted 'just under the cloud cover' forcing runway usage changes and reported by both pilots and ground crew(my source). After hovering a while and the control tower confirmation(it takes a lot to force take-off/landing changes) the UFO disappeared into the low cloud cover then ascending quickly into the upper atmosphere leaving a clear 'tube' to blue sky behind it. I see a clear area behind this UFO as well.

Explanation: he recorded the live cast, edited the footage, then played it through the TV with HDMI from computer. The rest was acting, good idea for a viral vid.

The UFO appeared at exactly 12:12 pm on 12-21-12 that's when the UFO appears, look at the time on the TV screen on the top left hand corner...... This is a real event
