At 01:26 it starts rotating over its own axle while it moves up. Unless the wind created a vortex that made the droplet spin without losing its reflection of the cliffs this is a genuine object in the sky. You can see clear rotation 01:24 - 01:26. No doubt whatsoever. I have checked the Phoenix TV am Ort archives but there are none for this emission (21.12.12). They do not archive the am Ort program - they only had a live stream. They also have a Youtube channel (user: Phoenix) but the last video they have uploaded dates from a few days back. It would be nice to get someone from Germany to call them and ask about the anomaly - and maybe get access to the program via their site. (As they will keep their recordings stored - all they have to do is make this segment available publically. This is most interesting and I seriously doubt the person who filmed this has faked this video. The camera pans up and the refraction of the drop no longer shows the dark mountain but rather the same as the cloudy sky. There is no way to see any "rotation" as it is a highly pixilated feed most likely due to the poor transmission conditions Unless you think that the light pole and everything else was also rotating I am cropping the 480p yt vid right now and I assure you that this is a rotating object. It becomes quite clear once you change contrast - invert etc. I´ll see if I can get a stabilized image sequence - |

Strange how the effect taken by the camera of the tv screen is completely different. I'll post a cropped vid so you can see the odd effect later. I didn't use photoshop or any other effect. This is what I got.
