IRL

When I think of blizzard

I think of a hybrid pig/orc fucking a nightelf/real life person in the ass

blizzard being hybrid pig orc

night elf/real life person being end user

money being the lubricant/lifeforce/bloodenergy suck

manbearpig effectively

Once you figure out how to cheat the game, than it loses all value. And can yield you some real life cash.

Suck from the blizzard tit.

Yeah, put your kid down some more when he is trying his best to improve. Thats some grade-A parenting right there.

I had to break my son's World of Warcraft addiction. What I did was get him banned. I know it was a terrible thing to do a as a parent, but in the year since he has been off the game, his grades have improved, he is hanging out with his friends again, and he wants to get a job next summer. Im so proud of him!

Re: so 3 months ago my son asked for world of warcraft for his birthday..
I know all about the game, I use to play it myself. So I just added time to my account and he made some players on a realm.

So anyways, 3 months has past and his gametime is almost up and for Christmas he wants an expansion and more gametime.

The problem is when I see him vs other people he sucks, even after 3 months of him playing constantly, I've watched him lately vs other players and lose constantly, he sucks at the game.

Like anything my son does in life, if he sucks at it I stop sponsering him for it. I told him straight up that he's not good st the game and that I don't think its worth his time anymore nevUse he's not improving.

Well when I told him that, one of his freinds was over, and apparently now its turned into a big deal that my son sucks at world of warcraft and my son thinks the game is somehow competitive and hes really down about it and aNts to keep practicing.

Now, for almost everything else, when my son wants to 'practice' to get better its a no brained; let the kid practice,.. but this is fucking world of warcraft, its just so rediculously retarded that I cannot confront anyone in my normal life of the matter because its just straight up the stupidiest situation ever.

I'm kind of milking the situation for what its worth, because I kind of like teasing him over it, but in reality, this game really means something to the kid, like it has some kind of prestige and somehow compliments him in a mature manor around his peers.

My girlfriend doesn't even understand the situation at all, she just sees it as a kid playing a video game from time to time. To my kid, its like his fucking profession now. To me, its just plain retarded and I hope he figures that out on his own asap.

I can't believe that you actually told him something like, especially in front of one of his friends. Why didn't you just put a sign on him saying "My mom thinks I'm a retard"? I would never have done that to any of my kids.

You don't say how old he is, but I'm sure that if you had let him continue playing and he still wasn't improving, he would lose interest on his own.

There are actually some redeeming factors to the game, in my opinion. It teaches you how to work toward bettering professions, how to make money, how to work with others and even facing your fears and not giving up. Still, it shouldn't take the place of real life.

And yes, I play it as it's more of a social thing with me. My kids played it but lost interest a long time ago.

Oh, and I sucked for the first year I played it. My kids never laughed or made fun of me about it.

If you're not a troll, you should seriously look into some parenting classes.

Mentally healthy people play games to have fun.

Congratulations on helping to make your son mentally ill by convincing him games are to make winners and losers.

I hope your gf is sterile.

How can you be good or bad at a game involving zero skill.

WoW is all about gear. The better the gear, the better you are. You obtain better gear by putting more time in.

People that are "good" at WoW are no-lifers who spend all their waking hours playing the game.

Is that really what you want for your son?

What a crappy parent you are.

I don't have any children and I would never tell a child that they suck at anything and then make fun of them.

You fail at parenting so bad it unbelievable.

I hope to god this is a troll.

If you really did know all about this game, then you would know it is purposefully made addictive.

And if you were a decent parent you would understand that at least your kid tries to improve, sure he may 'suck' at it, but he willing to continue to give it the college try, instead of just giving up like the majority.

Look for the positive here.
