When YOU get a note in writing that directs you to turn in your gun or face fines imposed by the IRS, what are you going to do?
They can and will use the IRS to manage any government-mandated returns. They have tracked your licensed weapons and the burden of proof is on YOU to prove that you sold them.
Get ready for fines and/or imprisonment for failurte to comply with the IRS!

The idea is the states have the right to regulate most things, but the feds can chose who they give money to. Case on point is the drinking age. Its up to the state to determine how old you have to be to drink. but the feds will only provide the state a "highway" fund if their drinking age is 21. hence, u must be 21 in the U.S. to legally drink. If guns are banned people will build their own guns and ammo; they will spawn a new free market. Then they will be more underground. Fools pushing on a string. im saying legally this would work in terms of the court. not saying I think it should work!
