Some idiot called "13-century ____ " started a thread and claimed that he had "debunked the debunkers." All he had was evidence that GE Capital (Peter Lanza's division) had paid a huge fine to the feds for some shenanigans. That DOES NOT MEAN that it had anything to do with LIBOR (in fact, IT DID NOT), NOR did it mean that Peter Lanza was supposed to testify before the subcommittee hearing (he wasn't). Yet for some reason, GLPers keep repeating the same erroneous meme over and over again.

Robert Holmes was never sleighted to testify before the LIBOR subcom either, yet that one keeps getting repeated too. Drama is always a big draw on GLP, facts be damned.
