(WMC-TV) - Federal law requires the Mississippi river channel be at least nine feet deep. Because of the extremely low river levels, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers must use special equipment to make that happen.

To make the river deeper, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers use a dredge that has three GE diesel electric 16-cylinder engines.

"We can move around 5,000 cubic yards an hour," said Captain Frank Segree.

Captain Segree's crew consists of 47 people.

Jimmy Wood controls the dredge from his perch in the wheelhouse.

"I'm running what you might call a big vacuum cleaner," said Woods.

The machine he is talking about is under the water, sucking up sand and mud from the river bed. It sends it through a pipeline and spits it out the far end. The intended goal is to carve and maintain a 300 foot wide channel at least nine feet deep.

"Last year, of course, it was almost going over the levee backing up in town. But now look around here and it's nothing but rock and sand," said Adrian Pirani, who is tasked with keeping the dredge from colliding with other boats that come through the channel. "We gotta stop everything and get out of the way. But of course, we're here for them. We can't stop them. You know, we gotta work around their schedule."

"We're not here to impede navigation we're here to keep it open," agreed Captain Segree. "This is a main artery to our commerce and if we lose the river it's just like shutting down I-10."

The Captain expects the dredge to be on the Mississippi River near Memphis for another few days.

After it is done working in this area, it will head to another low section of the river

So, I have some additions to my thoughts from yesterday on this and some corrections :

The community that was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy is really named BREEZY POINT, QUEENS, NY (not Sandy Point, as I mentioned above) and it was destroyed by fire, thus being ROASTED. If Hurrican Sandy was a man-made storm (by HAARP) as many believe, then Breezy Point was the sacrificial roasted LAMB.

Breezy Point is a SANDY POINT that sticks out into the harbor leading to NY. It "points" to the Statue of Liberty, among other things. (google map Breezy Point, Queens, NY to see for yourself.)

If Sandy is the Point, then what does the name "Sandy" mean? It is defined as Greek in origin and means "Defender of Mankind". We all know how Satanists love to turn things on their head. The Defender is now the Destroyer.

Christopher A. Rodia is a 42 year old from Norwalk CT currently living in Miami, FL. He has quite a list of previous drug and burglary charges.. seems to be big on stealing leaf blowers since he is currently awaiting trial for atleast his 5th count of stealing a leaf blower. He had an active arrest warrant on October 8th. One of the more recent times he has been in the news was for stealing copper wire from a construction site with his 19 year old niece, Cassandra Scire. He was also found to be in possession of a large unmarked bag of Oxycontin at the time. The 2 lived together on Volmmer with a large group of extended family.

I started with Cassandra's facebook and started trying to find connections through her family and friends. The Scire and Rodia families appear to be close with eachother, but I also found another family they are close with.. the Lanza's. There are many ties between family members facebook accounts.

He was manufacturing fully automatic rifles and selling them to members of the Latin Kings. WOW!! Good find!!! I went to church today and all they shared about was the lineage of Jesus birth - the saviour of the world....all I could think about (because I know this story already) is this riddle - how on the 25th a new "anti" Christ be born unto us?
