Sadly, the INDIVIDUALS in government, don't see the Constitution as it was intended.

They see it as something that limits the people and empowers government to get away with murder.

Technically rights come from God not government. So the second ammendment doesn't "give" a right so much as simply list it as something government can't take away. But for the purposes of sheople polls in the propaganda media, yes it does.

The second amendment doesn't really GIVE any rights at all, it just reiterates them.

Don't get caught-up in this idea that the 2nd Amendment is needed to have firearms. Say these words or something along these lines to everyone "The people have the right to bear arms with/without the 2nd Amendment".

I can just see them trying to amend the constitution for this and then say "OK, we changed it, no more guns."

Anyway, the Bill of Rights does give rights, that neither the Federal nor any subsidiary government within the US can take away. In that sense, the 2nd Amendment is a restriction on states, that they cannot infringe the right to bear arms.

I think the key to what the men that set up the rules of this nation meant about the 2nd Amendment is very clear when you, or IF you take the time to read their commentaries on government in general. All of them, and I mean ALL of them wrote and spoke often of the abuses and inevitable corruption of all governments and the need for citizenry to have the means to stop these corrupt motherfuckers when they go over the edge.

How can ANYONE argue what the founding fathers felt about arms against tyrants when they themselves took arms against their own LEGAL government, once the corrution was as great as it had gotten. I mean really, read it again stupids!

Here is the exact Poll Question that USA TODAY Poll asked, the exact langauge:

"Does the Second Amendment give individuals the right to bear arms?"

There are two parts to this proposition. The two key words are, 1.) give, 2.) individuals.

There is no language in the text of the 2nd Amendment that uses the exact word, "give", nor does the language of the text of the 2nd Amendment make any use of the word, "individuals".

USA's Poll Question is designed to trick the poll taker to respond in a certain way. They might even be using this Poll result to discover how stupid the people of the USA are in general.

If they see the majority vote yes, what do they then know about those that answered this Poll in the affirmative?

The first thing they know is that the majority of the Poll respondents are typical shallow knee-jerk reflexing non-thinkers.

Food for thought about any Poll Question.

However if the majority of the Poll respondents answer "no" they can then say that the majority of the Poll respondents do not support the 2nd Amendment.. with their comments in stealth to a 'subtle' agenda.

So, depending on how their are going to make comments on the results of their poll, the have all the 'ammunition' they need to cause a certain percentage of their readers to side to which ever side the Editiors and Publishers decide to focus on.

The 3rd Poll question answer option, "undecided" can mean that people just don't understand the question sufficiently to eat the poison apple, so they much keep on banging again until the fewer and fewer are 'on the fence'.

You best option is to not answer the Poll at all but kill the page, and go do something else.
