The effort is to create the illusion that the majority want our guns gone. FBI stats show a 50%+ reduction in violent cimes nationwide over the last 25-30 years. The media, under orders without question, seeks to maximize the impact to the public of every shooting mass or otherwise to create the illusion that these crimes are at epidemic proportions, when the FBI's own stats suggest the opposite. These people are lying and they are lying big, but the average idiot will believe whatever the talking head tells him. You can access the violent crime data on the FBI website. So, if you are part of the elite and crime is declining with gun ownership on the rise, the last thing you want to do is publicize that fact if what you want to disarm the population. There is real danger right now. These people are not benevolent in any way and the American and Western population will suffer greatly if we are disarmed.
