It isn't about banning of guns it is about the mindset that this awful incident is placing so many people into. Parents are worried all over america about their children's safety...and now threats to schools and school areas are keeping large number of children from showing up to school that day..fear is the loaded weapon here...they have shot our hearts with fear..and now we will be willing to have more military / police presence in our schools ...but it won't stop at the schools because this shot of fear will extend into every aspect of our lives. We will be fearful to do anything without this military/police presence to watch over us. At this point it won't really matter if they take our guns or not...we are so filled with fear that we want more protection and this is were they have gotten us for a police state. You see it can't be pushed on us to accept a policed state..they would loose all control of people if they push them into this. No..they want to keep control of us so the people have to want it. We have to accept them. Once in...they can continue their plans on desensitizing us on the continued escalation of military and police presence in our everyday lives..till they pretty much take over, and it won't even matter if you have a gun or not because you won't realize what's coming till it is to late and your gun won't help you. He has been saying these things for a couple decades now. He has never read any books that i know of, and certainly has absolutely no idea how to use the internet. He never even liked television. I have asked him where he got the info. about food prices being inflated beyond the average consumers means. He said that he could not remember who told him that, or where this info. came from. It kind of blew my mind because this has become seemingly general information in today's society. Anyway, i believe if it is engrained in peoples minds long enough, eventually it will become an eventuality. |

I understand why the 2nd amendment is there and I support it. The founding Fathers had the foresight to know that if the government could jackboot over the citizens all freedoms would be lost.
