What the second amendment really means and why guns should be banned for citizens because it was never legal.
The second amendment is a misinterpretation
Many people think the second amendment is
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
But all respected historians know that is an error the second amendment actually says.

Now using the correct version you can see that the second amendment actually is intended for the people to use offense weapons and protect themselves with body armor.Instead of defensive weapons such as guns.
On that merit alone,guns should be banned because they never were suppose to be legal for citizens anyway.

The key is states, notice how it say a free state not free nation its because all states are like free little ilands all join togeather to form one united states .Militias are made up by freemen of that state to defend that state from all enemies, foreign and domestic the right of the people shall not be infringed now do you relly think that was written to protect our selves from foreign enemys no they wrote it to alow us to defend ourselves from domestic threats like theives and murders and most of all our own out of line goverment bottm line is you do not know what your talkin about
