Christmas is supposed to be a time for giving, but apparently for others it's a time for STEALING. I briefly mentioned this in a thread of mine yesterday. Three days ago my house was broken into and robbed. They took almost everything I own of value, including all my childrens gifts. I have little money and I'm doing everything in my power to replace my 2 children's gifts. I don't care about MY stuff, it's only material items, but I've been buying their Christmas presents all year and saving them. I humbly ask for ANYONES help. Please know that it took ALOT for me to get the nerve up to even post this, so if you don't have anything nice to say, PLEASE keep it to yourself. This whole situation has been hard enough. If all you have is $70 till the first of the month keep it.You are probably as bad off as the OP. Not sure why OP didnt go to a local church or charity or even the police department and ask about the programs to help with Christmas. Under the circumstances its hard for me to believe that no local people would offer to help even without being ask. Around my area if a story like this hits the news people help out without being ask. |

This happened locally and hundreds of people contacted the news station wanting to help.Also the police department made a big effort to help.So did the churches offer assistance. Of course not to many people sent money to an unknown person with a Pay Pal account. Sounds like the typical holiday scam. |
