They had only a few hours to work, weren't able to use artificial illumination, and had a deadline before sunrise. They were given a rather complicated design to duplicate, arranged by a mathematician. I was amazed at how well they did, originally certain they weren't going to be able to complete the task. Or most important of all, I thought whatever work they did manage to complete would look really lame and amateurish. Surprisingly, it didn't. The only crop circles that may be formed by unknown technology are the ones where the stalks of the plants are bent by some type of energy. And where the design of the circles is extremely complicated. The examples linked to in this thread are no where near that complicated. Yes, and the legitimate ones made by bending the stalks with energy are the only ones we're interested in and the 3rd example I cited wasn't a crop circle, it was a phenomonen in the sky which mirrored the crop circle. So, bottom line is, these things are noteworthy and sorth studying and it's best to keep the baby while discarding the bathwater if you get my point.
