....Simple forensics can determine the size & caliper of the bullet holes found in vehicle...to those used in the school... They should get a match, considering he used just the two handguns...but suppose they don't match...?

But the thing is, things like footage are often kept lockdown and not shown to the public during investigations because they don't want the public to know everything. Why not? So someone in the public can't give false confessions. If they repeat something which isn't true, the police can figure out what is going on. Typical process.
