Cats are freakin out, arcs everytime I try to pet and calm them

They are chilled out now.

My cats have been the same, minus the electric shocks, for about 3 weeks now. They are usually near me but lately they want to be right on top of me.

One is literally sleeping on top of me at night, no matter what position I am sleeping in. It's like I am suddenly his catbed and he's not going to sleep anywhere else.

Another who has always been friendly has become extremely affectionate, far more than normal. She has been sleeping next to me everynight also.

Our shy cat who stays almost exclusively in the basement bathroom she decided was her safe zone, is venturing out to be near us. They are all doing the sudden spazz and bolt manuever more than normal too.

None of the behavior is really bizzare, just odd for them. I haven't seen them display so much need to be nearby before.

Have 3 with us. Past week or two they have been very clingy, sleepy, and must be near/on us.

Perhaps they sense the evil in your soul.

my cat is spastic, clingy, and randomly freaking out lately also. He is usually very chilled out and laid back. He is quiet also, usually, but the last 2 weeks or so very loud meowing like he is trying to get me to notice something.

My dog had his hair raised on his back last night. Was weird, he didn't seem pissed and let me pet him, but his hair on his back was standing up like they do when they are ready to fight or growling. weird stuff!

When they are tense, excited, agitated, etc.
