So sad that a town like this has fallen due to one crazy rich brat.... really the convo should be about the generation that never did anything wrong!

From my understanding, Newtown ended up being the stage for another progaganda piece. you think the people who died in the towers were fake or those shot in aurora were fake? Newtown wasnt fake, but the events, like most disasters caused by other humans these days seem ass wrong.

and you know they had pets too

and are never comming home again to see them

Honestly, the most I have seen hunt in this town is quarrels, I really can't believe this is a conspiracy.

I can't believe ANYONE would walk into a school and start shooting kids for no reason.

We are not trying to malign your town.

We are trying to do the investigative journalism that our media is failing to do.

We want to know why you folks have been put through this nightmare, and the 'official' story is so full of holes it screams to be analyzed.

The only justice for the suffering is for the REAL perpetrators to be caught/exposed/convicted.

have you listened to the police scanners? Have you watched a clip from columbine recently and the amount of info that was released within a day? Have you ever seen a security camera from aurora or newtown? I agree no one should want to see that, but those that can stomach it shoud be given the choice to see the event unfol as media portrayed... or be ready to be criticized because the attention that comes with these incidents these days is so screened and filtered. People need to expereince their emotional effects away from their logical thinking. The emotions cloud your train of thought and make it very easy to beieve whatever the MSM is paid by the white house to tell you... look for answrs yourself, dont just accept that it was a troubled family, that happened to create the recent flood of anti gun propaganda. Just too much to this besides a clean cut case of someone shooting a school.

The people in this town are so spoiled and so are there children... the children can do no wrong and we are raising a society based on "oh no honey it's not your fault" that it will come and bite us in the ass!

On the note of you being sad about your $2 movie tickets and quiet evenings... maybe it paints a picture of how close to home this situation is? Because MSM has reported so poorly on the incident, your town is as popular as roswell. Because a teacher didnt have a concealed permit howwveer many shooters walked into that school, none died before they got their job accomplished. Realize that you may be some small town on the ass side of the continent, but that doesnt mean propaganda cannot be created in your backyard.

we are only trying to solve a case. and we may be coming upon new terrain in the investigation. i encourage you, OP, to read more into the case. we must find justice. especially since you know these people.

It has me shaken the past week

I lived on Old Bethel Road for years... my father in law has that little house on the corner of Obtuse road and 25...on the road to Brookfield

I know Newtown so well, and even though we've moved to Texas, I still thought of it as my last real hometown

The guys at the old Hawleyville Po are some of the sweetest and coolest I know....I was just there this summer a few months ago, and it still felt like home, even though I know why I moved to Texas

It is truly surreal

But honestly, the other element was entering and changing the town, the people from Westport and lower Fairfield, the douchebags, the ones who change and ruin every place they land...and it is one of them who is in the news for this horrible incident

I often think there is a battle of good vs light, and sad for all of us who loved that area, Newtown is now infamous in the way that Columbine, Aurora, Lockerbie and other towns associated with tragedy are, and that is something that cannot be undone
