Re: My dad was known as the man with the BAR...
All it takes is one mentally unstable person in the household to use the guns against a loved one or other innocent. How many people are on meds for various mental health issues....thousands, hundred thousands? We live in such an over prescribed society, drugs for anxiety, stress, depression, etc. These drugs have serious side effects and unknown long term effects. Not worth the risk of keeping high powered firearms in one's home. There's been too many mass shootings involving mentally unstable individuals. The most recent on in Conn. is just too much, enough already!!

You are right, we need to get rid of the mentally unstable.
Like Liberals,perhaps?

This site would have no traffic if mentally unstable were corralled.

Maybe we should also outlaw automobiles...you have any idea how many people kill other people with cars?

Yes, and we need to outlaw ham as it is pork and Christ said we shouldn't eat an animal from a cloved foot!

Seriously...you clearly don't know The Word!

Repent and surrender to The Most High God...Jesus Christ!

Good night!

Hahaha! You all should be proud of a true American patriot. Instead, you are being derogatory. Evident you all have led a very sheltered life courtesy of the fighting men of the USA!

OP you're a fucking idiot. My father and uncle fought in Vietnam and both own guns. You gonna tell me "they don't know"?

This was just my dad's own deal here! You have completely misunderstood my post. It is a personal thing. This is just how my father felt.

My Grandfather was a Marine in WWII

He brought home a German Lugar.

And a Katana.

He was sent into Nagasaki after they dropped the Bomb.

He was assigned a protection detail for some Doctors and Photographers they sent in to survey the damage.

All he would say is that the devastation of the Nuke was Horrible and that there was a strong storm.
