This just applies for during a Marine's work shift, just like piss tests (urinalysis). No big deal. It USED to be, Marines could go and have a beer or two during chow break or whatever (WAY before my time). We have whiz quizzes at random times throughout the year, and after taking leave for drug test. What bothers me is, for our command, as far as I know, if there is any "ARI" (Alcohol related incident) YOU are DONE. They kick you OUT, you're Marine Corps career is OVER, be it a bar fight, DUI, anything. What's funny is, Marines used to be the troublemakers that the judged ordered to enlist in place of jailtime. Marines can't be troublemakers in the least anymore!
What I'm saying is, we are fine as long as we are drinkin' on libo, not being dumbasses, and have our "arrive alive card" (take a cab).
