or perhaps it represents the "most likely crosses" of the solar system planetary orbitals in a helical model. Quoting: pi 20063747 I can't believe you said that! I was playing around with that concept not too long ago... I actually only thought of it while watching that "2012 A-Z" thing a few days ago, the video and picture renderings of the helical model are fascinating, the narrator says "I could watch that all day", and I agreed with him.
