God’s Word urges us: “Keep your senses completely.” (1 Peter 1:13)
The Greek word here rendered “keep your senses” literally means “be sober.”
According to Bible scholar R.C.H. Lenski, that soberness is “a calm, steady state of mind which weighs and estimates things aright and thus enables us to make the right decision.” Let us consider some situations that call for us to be sober-minded.
Quoting: Uncle Mikey  Laaaammmmm-oooooo....  ooh it can also mean to stay grounded, it does not have to mean your drunk off your ass, there are other ways to loose your senses :) believing in one concept completely, and overlooking the obvious, then you have lost your sense aswell. vague I know :/
