Expound if you will...


As the other day I was watching a flock of birds on the Bay. The water had just began to recede and the birds were grouped around said freshly revealed sand.

They were gorging themselves on the sandfleas made available to them.

Fat little bellies they had.


As I watched them I marveled at how balanced Nature is to provide for her inhabitants.

They need not steal or cheat, as what they need is provided.

The sandfleas, being vast in number feed the birds. Insects being far more numerous than the birds they feed.

However, if one was to fall out of balance with the other an imbalance would occur causing either unrestrained breeding of insects or a die-off of said birds.

That is what I was getting at.
