| Anonymous Coward User ID: 26448516 12/22/2012 06:00 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Me too.....the fact I can't get into the shops cos they are packed with fucking idiot annoys me more than anything.....I bought the few presents I buy back in November for my son and my parents.....I dont send cards , I do however enjoy the food , I went shopping to the supermarket on Wednesday armed with a list and managed to get everything I will be needing , I m going to my older sons Xmas Eve and I take bits and bobs of buffet food , got parents here Xmas Day so will cook a roast dinner , then Boxing Day I go to my friends and we are having a 70's themed buffet.....the only thing I need venture out for will be some milk...... |

If you concentrate on the materialism, then you get negative energy back. If you concentrate on the happiness that this time of year brings to people you will get positive. Everyday we should be joyful and ready to give. I am happy about Christmas because this year is the first one in which my brother was able to buy gifts for my niece, and I am happy for him. I love the music, too. Life is what you make of it. Enjoy and celebrate every minute of it, while you can. |

Ill never forget one Christmas..I was walking in town and I heard a loud thump then screaming..so I ran towards the noise..and there on the ground lay a woman..dying..she had jumped out the window..but she was still conscious..her eyes were open..she was choking on her blood..I kneeled by her..and tried to soothe and reassure her..she just kept looking in my eyes..and everyone was screaming ..saying she is dying..I started shouting telling them all to shut up and call an ambulance..I just knelt there telling her she would be ok..and she just kept looking and fainting..then coming round again..and looking at me.. They eventually took her away..they had to perform surgery on the street to help her breath She died i later found out that her little girl had died and she couldnt take the pain of being without her for Christmas.. the neighbors didnt even know her name or her daughters something wrong with this society..where a woman is left on her own to grieve like that.. I lived next to a Monastery..they had a lodge..covered..where they used to hook up the horses.. It was Christmas..and it was snowing..there was a man..*I guessed it was a man by the size feet and boots as I couldnt see his face* that slept there..under that roof..next to the monastery..he slept all day..I dont know if he woke up at night....he was always covered in rags and blankets..I used to go up and bring him food etc..and leave them by his side.. I lived alone so I couldnt invite him to stay..but I used to lie awake thinking of him and others lying out in the cold..with the snow.. For Christmas..I went up and left by his bed with him sleeping under the blankets a bottle of champagne..a champagne glass and a big Christmas Dessert..knife..fork..plate..serviette..the lot..there he was sleeping..and I would have loved to see his face when he woke up..I hoped it made him happy it made me happy  Matthew 16>18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it..
