Something doesn't make sense.

People when stressed and feeling grief can act in strange ways, but usually in predictable ways. They can initially act muted because they're stunned and in shock. They can weep and that can build to wailing. I've seen grim gallows humor. I haven't seen parents who have lost a child act this way.

I don't understand. It doesn't compute.

Something is wrong. If there are any good journalists, how hard would it be to do background checks and see if the people involved, well if their story checks out?

There's a lot of goofy conjecture involved initially in a story. There's confusion, misinformation, miscommunication. Witnesses are notoriously bad at observation. Memories get colored and enhanced and embellished the more the stories are told.

Still....something is not right.
