No problem. What's funny is that I am a North American Native and a student of God's Word. Natives worship one God, The Great Spirit, but recognize God's spirit within all of His creation and design. They may not have gotten everything right, but they knew there was something much larger than themselves.

However, I do not agree with the Mormon's, who believe that the Natives are descended from the Israelites or are the 'lost tribe' of Israel. This world and its people have had atrocities and though God must respect the free will of evil people, He can always take what was meant for evil and make its purpose and result as something good.

The Native Americans had atrocities committed against them, but for me, imho, it was God's way of bringing the gospel to them so that they, too, could be saved. It is honestly the ONLY good thing to come out of their history since the white man came. Because it sure isn't their way of life as all it has brought is misery, greed and a loss of America's natural beauty given us from that Great Spirit, our God.

People wonder about the Native peoples before the gospel came, but God is a most wondrous God and as they sought Him out in their own primitive way, I believe He spoke to them through His creation so that they humbled themselves before Him and He accepted them through that humbling faith as He has done for all who came before the sacrifice of Christ. God, Himself tells us that since the beginning of the world, His divine nature and presence was obvious and that man has no excuse, this means that even the heathen has no excuse not to know Him.

Romans 1:20

20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

I believe the Native peoples of the world have done well in their recognition of God, as seen and experienced throughout His creation and God will not allow any to perish without having known Him, even in this way.

And this goes for all peoples who lived before the saving grace of Christ, and woe to those who HAVE had Christ, Himself, the prophets and Apostles and God's Holy Word and still do NOT acknowledge Him.

Tell me, who would God recognize more worthy in such a scheme; us today with all we know, compared to those we may deem 'heathens', who actually sought Him out and accepted Him without any other clue accept His creation? Yes, God is indeed fair and just.

Be very careful about the translators' supply of punctuation when translating into the English.

Beware of the Capitalization as well, it is supplied only by the Translators. When you see the casting as "LORD" double check the Hebrew text to find out what the Hebrew letters are. Furthermore, solve the riddle of the Pronouns in every place in the texts with are being consulted. Find the Nouns that each Pronoun is referring to, and use the rules of Hebrew (or in this case English) grammar pertaining to Pronouns.

I have tried here to show the derivation of the resolving of the pronouns back into their respective referential nouns.

Understanding that the Speaker of this verse is Mose, and that Moses is speaking to the Children of Israel just as they are ready to pass over the River Jordon into Canaan. There are only three people of the Children of Israel who stood at Mt. Sinai still alive at this time, Moses, Joshua, and Caleb. Everyone else of the Children of Israel is under 41 years of age at this time in question.

The Children of Israel's Tribes, were detailed as the following:

... seems to be setting forth (at least in the KJV English) an apparent contradiction. You shall be sold vs. no man shall buy you. If one is sold but there is now one to buy, however can one be sold? There is something more going on there than perhaps meets the eye on first blush. The English translation in this case may be ill founded, and poorly translated.

How do we really know who today is of Israel or of one of the Tribes of Israel, that Tribe of Judah?

WE don't. WE Cannot know, period. There today is only on the basis of Man only assumption... at least on the 'race' or 'genetic mtDNA + nuclear DNA (nuDNA). WE cannot find out. Why? Because we do not have the original full genome of Jacob/Israel and his four wives, nor do we have the a sample of the full DNA of Judah and his wive, for instance. Nor of Gad and his wive, etc. (yes, some had more than one wife they begat children with). And because we don't have that original starting set of genomes, we cannot genetically discover who is or who is not in the genetic sense, of Israel. The adoption or injection int the lines of the Tribe of Israel by religious grafting into that Tree is a different issue. But one that grafting in of that 'other' genome into the Tree of Israel the genetics gets every more confused. Any basis of claim as to 'Race' today is a dubious proposition at best and is based only the the 'testimony' and 'witness' of what are often alleged to be long lines of gemologies of which there is no way to proof one way or the other, except to believe their witness or not make their witness. Only God knows who is who.

So it is time to give up all pretensions.
