Because of the apparent contradiction set-up in the English version used here, I would be looking very closely at ever letter of every word of the Hebrew of that verse, to see if I can resolve said apparent contradiction found in the English. One should look closely at the Hebrew where that this translaton has cast or rendered as "sold", to discover whether it might not mean, in the sense of "For Sale: bondmen and bondwomen".. rather than "Sold". Up for sale and no-one is buying... in that sense. I would look closely at the actual Hebrew there. |

What it appears you are setting forth is known as the Doctrine of British/Israelism, which was a denomination and creed and even sect that maintained that we could come to discover from within the Bible and with "historical events and records" where the so called Lost Ten Tribes of Israel "wandered off to". It is a theory of interpretation, and its conclusions are based like any other Theology upon the precepts and principles of possible interpretations of the Scriptures. The foundations of this doctrine had its origins in certain people within England during the 1850s.. the interpretation is but a Theory. The Proof of it remains to be fully examined in every jot and tittle, just like every other theory of interpretation of the Bible's text. It is an interesting Theory ... one that like any other theory has to be tested by many methods of testing in order to turn it into a Hypothesis that can be falsified, not will, but can be, in that there are tests that can be used to assay its validity or its rejection as a Hypothesis. It is a theory that can be taken by Blind Faith, it is also a theory that can be rejected by Blind Faith. There is no scientic nor historical absolute proof outside of a New Revelation of God pertaining to who is or is not 'of' any given suggested People or genetic line. (1Ti 1:4 KJV) Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do. A genealogy is but an alleged genetic tree.. alleged because it has to be scientifically tested by the full use of all 16,000 base-pairs mtDNA and all 3 Billion base-pairs of nuDNA, in comparison with two founding people, a male and his female, in the begetting and conception. Otherwise, it remains, an alleged genealogy. Not even the so called Genetic Markers are the total equation because one has to know the exact DNA base-pairs of both founding 'parents' even to use known DNA Genetic Markers. There is a reason that the Parable of the Wheat and the Tares is used the way it is in the Gospels. It is shown in that that only the Angels of God in Heaven are given the task of separation the Wheat from the Tares (i.e., the genetic lines) at the harvest. Man is not tasked with that, nor even granted that knowledge. Man should not attempt to do that which God allows only for the Angels of Heaven. So quit the pretensions, "I am of this line", "you are of that line", "they of another line" when it comes to the identifications of the Peoples mentioned in the Bible. Possibly we make a false flag to find a reason to attack Israel As I was referring in my post about the doctrines set for by British/Israelism, in that doctrine it holds that the UK or more properly the British are of the tribe of Ephraim and the USA is of the tribe of Massasseh. Though I am away there are several other doctrines that alleged the indentities to be other Tribes of Israel, or even the whole of the Tribes of Israel. One studying the doctrines of Manifest Destiny, well some some variances for instance with the British/Israelism approach. I, myself hold to none of these doctrines.
