My last relationship.... we were in love for six months... right up until the point it ended (explosively).

Love is a fickle creature.

But worth in my humble opinion. That's how we learn. No reason to piss on someone's parade. I've been there too. It sucks when it happens. But the OP may very well have it all. We can't judge all relationships. OP, just keep going till it hurts.

My husband and I will celebrate our 40th anniversary this coming spring. We dated for 4 months before we married.

I think if it hadn't been love (along with a healthy amount of lust) one or the other of us would have bailed out before now!

I wondered the same thing. It makes no matter. Go for it OP.. it isn't often that you get to experience this feeling. If it's love then you will be willing to go through anything. It does get tough at times, but it is worth the going through the hard times.

So for now, enjoy that twitterpated feeling. :D
